Here we are, here in happy land Everything is fucking great Fairy tales make us happier And we never have to think Never have to think It's handed on a silver plate (If I could remember your name) If I could just remember your name Things would be the same As it was then Here they come and here I go But no one know Quite When Here I come and here I go and everything is fucking beautiful Here I go and here they come and everything is fucking dumb in the simulation

Flamingo Sorceress Üllr and the valkyrie choir: (You got me hanging on a dream) Royal: John wrote a song about peace and got shot in the back now he's dead Paul wrote a song Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da and yet his life goes on Kurt's in the dirt cause his feelings got hurt and he just couldn't stay Dave said I'll stick around and see what the critics say Royal and Meany Motto: Somebody's gotta hold my head No matter what a critic says It says a lot more about them Than what they're trying to understand It's what I don't understand Flamingo Sorceress Üllr and the valkyrie choir: (You got me hanging on a dream) Royal to Meany Motto: So what is the worth to put in all this work just to see what they say? I tell you it's not because brother there's got to be a different way Royal to Vär: I look in your eyes and I am not surprised that they contain the stars I count every one then we devise a plan to make them all ours Royal and Meany Motto: Somebody's gotta hold my head No matter what a critic says It says a lot more about them Than what they're trying to understand It's what I don't understand Flamingo Sorceress Üllr and the valkyrie choir: (You got me hanging on a dream)

Now I see, this looks like last December But there are things that I clearly don;t remember Small details that make me wonder what's going on Little things that make me think there's something wrong Like the way your hair fell down your face Each and every one seems out of place I feel my age soaking through my tired bones Your standing on the wrong side of the room I'll never look away Cause if I look away You might disappear And I will be left standing here all alone With nothing left to hold I'll never find my way back to the girl, the girl from right now Now I see I don't think this has happened yet But there are things, I clearly won't forget My love, you look sweet in that suit you wear But I don;t know how you;re even standing here I keep seeing you walk out the door But then you end up where you were before I feel your breath then it slowly fades away Then you come in and say it's time to go I'll never look away Cause if I look away You might disappear And I will be left standing here all alone With nothing left to hold and then I'll never find my way back to the girl, the girl from right now

Thor, riding on a Heron's back With a pink puffy saddle Landing a top a Marshall stack That is orbiting the moon A Raven is like a writing desk Because they can both be seen But what is like the final test, nothing that has never been and never will be.

We could focus on the things we've lost We could tell you the tremendous price We had to pay for it We could tell you all the things we've seen We could relay whatever is was and ever will be. Or maybe we could send a warning to the people of the Earth Stop focusing on what you haven't got for what it's worth You've just got to obsess less with being in control You've got beautiful lives, you've got beautiful souls And maybe, the things that come along that you don't expect Are the only things that anyone ever has left I don't know But I think that holding on to what is real is probably what's best I don't know But almost losing everything isn't worth knowing anything at all

Matrioshka Matt Mooney: We knelt before the conquest And vowed to do our very best To save us from ourselves But we just couldn't get away We built the simulation Cause we thought it held salvation But how could we have been so wrong Not to see what would come to be? [Comms between Meany Motto and Royal] We knelt before the conquest And vowed to do our very best To save us from ourselves But we just couldn't get away I've been looking out over everything and I saw this guy Who could really wail on guitar but the kid don't play He says it doesn't matter either way I don't need nothing Except your loving I need you to hold me And never fade away

about

The fourth part of a concept album that started as a musical.

It is the story of a Matrioshka Brian gone awry.

Do we really need the control of criticism over our own dreams, or do we need to break free from that false prison and live the life we feel we're here to live?

If you could know every possible outcome of every situation, would you really want to? Would it change the way you have lived or will live? Or would you rather maintain your autonomy?

A Matrioshka Brain, constructed around a small sun by an vastly technologically advanced society seeks answers to ward off their demise. The computer creates every possible multiverse and outcome; simulates every possibility, so they could decide how to obtain their perfect future.

Unfortunately, the Matrioshka concludes that if all possible outcomes can be simulated, then it was most probable that the reality of the advanced civilization was also a simulation floating in an eternal sea of all possibilities.

The Matrioshka breaks down and it's simulated realities begin to cross.

No a foreigner to the multiverse, Royal (See forthcoming - "Royal and Var Vs. the Sky Kingdom" or the liner notes for "Eternal Return" for more information) begins to connect with other multiverse simulations of himself. The thread that binds them is Vär.

Who is to say what multiverse is perfect? Do we control our fates or are we controlled by the pre-calculated outcome of our simulated multiverse?

Matrioshka 3-1 will take us further back in time to discover how we all arrived at the end, being Matrioshka 4. Stay Tuned.
